James R. Montgomery
James R. Montgomery, the founder of the practice, retired from the practice of law in July, 2021. He moved to Blacksburg with his family in 1968. Before graduating from Penn State Dickinson School of Law and becoming an attorney, he spent 30 years in University Administration. He has a Ph.D. from Columbia University and is a retired Major General in the U.S. Army Reserve.

He has a Ph.D. from Columbia University and is a retired Major General in the U.S. Army Reserve.
Mandy Wilson
Mandy Wilson is our office manager. She assists with many office tasks including probate, estates, and family law issues.
Jaime L. Rebkovich
Jaime L. Rebkovich is a native of Southwest Virginia. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 2003 with a B. S. in Marketing Management. She then went on to get her Juris Doctorate from Penn State Dickinson School of Law in 2006. Ms. Rebkovich joined the firm in 2006.
Her practice focuses on estate planning, business formation, registered agent service, child custody and visitation, and contract review. She serves as a Guardian ad litem for incapacitated adults and children in courts throughout the 27th New River Valley.
Ms. Rebkovich is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Montgomery-Radford Bar Association, and the Virginia Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She is also an Assistant Professor of Business Law at the Davis College of Business and Economics of Radford University.
